Relocated
I've moved to Forest Glen until Rob and Mike return from their camping trip. They expect to return no later than September 19th. I arrived Tuesday evening so there would be some overlap in care-taking for the animals before Rob and Mike left this morning. I think it helps to reassure the animals that they're going to be okay.
The guys left behind a fridge with tasty leftovers, including some awesome marinated and grilled beef that we had for dinner Tuesday and a pretty good meat loaf that I had to miss last night because of my square dance class. However, the meat loaf did make it into my lunch today and I snacked on a piece of it late last night. I think I like it better cold.
Not much else to write about. I visited my doctor's office Tuesday morning to have blood drawn. I'll get my results Monday morning, and I hope that my recent illness didn't have too much impact on my numbers. I'm hoping for more improvement, but I doubt I'll see as much as I did on my last visit.
I'm planning on meeting up with Doug M. at happy hour this week and perhaps watching Battlestar Galactica with the sci-fi folks afterward. If not, then I hope to get home in time to catch it here.
I understand the gay rodeo is in town this weekend. I'm thinking about checking that out.
