Movin' On Up
Aug. 18th, 2004 12:41 pmSo I'm now installed in Forest Glen with Rob and Mike. They've pushed their departure back from Thursday to Friday, so for now I'm merely a house guest rather than a house sitter. I really enjoy staying over with the two of them.
I'll be taking care of their two dogs and their cat, all of which are accustomed to sharing the bed with them. Last night I shared the bed with them as well, so we had six bodies in this large bed. This morning I was reminded of the John Denver song, "Grandma's Feather Bed." :-)
Robyn, my boss, mentioned that he has a friend in Bowie that will be needing a house sitter, but I don't know if I can swing that. It depends on how close the house is to the Bowie State MARC station.
Still counting down to my HIV anniversary this Saturday, and I'm detecting no emotional undertow as of yet. EGN will be meeting me at Rob and Mike's house and driving me to the HIV social in Alexandria. Maybe I can coax him into the hot tub for a bit before we leave. Of course, then we might not make it to the social! ;-)
