Reminder madness

DM loaned me a couple of CDs by the Kinsey Sicks, so I installed them on my computer and synchronized my iPod to my music library so I could review them while I was on the train yesterday.

I was surprised to see my pill reminders popping up on my iPod's screen. I knew that the iPod had this behavior, but my pill reminders are the first time I've used alarms in iCal, thus it's the first time my iPod had to nag me about anything.

So now I have alarms on my cell phone, alarms on my computer and alarms on my iPod. :-)

I have an old iPod, one of the second generation. I bought it to replace my first gen iPod after I left it behind on a tour bus. (Funny, I lost my Palm Pilot and moved on, but I immediately replaced my lost iPod!)

Because I don't have a more recent iPod, I can't use this item, the On Stage, from JBL -- a combination dock/speaker base for the newest iPods and iPod Minis. I like the look of this thing so much, I'd buy a new iPod to get it!
