Sunday, shining Sunday
Jan. 23rd, 2005 01:40 pmToday has been pretty laid-back. The entire morning was sleeping late, reading the news in bed, self-gratification, and showering. Pretty much perfect, in other words. It would be more perfect to wake up with a man and do all of that, but that's neither here nor now.
I did manage, however, to get dressed and step outside into the bright, bright snow-covered city to fetch some fixings for lunch from the local grocery store. I had to wear my sunglasses. Did I mention it was bright?
Now I'm sitting back after having prepared and consumed my lunch and washed up the lunch dishes. (Yay!) I'm going to take my pills and chill out until Louie comes by to whisk me away to bowling.
kenny73 gave me a collection of different cookies covered in a variety of Belgian chocolate. I was intending to share these with my square dance group when it's my turn to supply the refreshments, but I've torpedoed that notion. They're delicious, and they're all for me! I suppose I'll share them with my guests, but they'll have to give me good cause. ;-)
There's an HIV support group meeting tonight, but I think I'll skip that and call Kirk. I was supposed to tromp up to his apartment this morning to help him move his DVD player, but that didn't happen. I hope I can make it up to him this evening, then come home to make some dinner.
