Saturday

Yesterday was busy. I decided to attend the C2 class review sessions at Ett's home, and I'm very glad that I did. The review ran from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a break for lunch. This was the equivalent of about three weeks of review time, and I think I solidified my understanding of a few calls that have been giving me trouble.

I didn't get a chance to see any of the Baltimore Pride Parade. Once Barry dropped me off, I spent some time getting the apartment in order before a visit from Bob S. He and I haven't seen each other in months, and I was eager to see him again. When he did arrive, I was just finishing up and I hadn't gotten dressed after my shower, so I met him at the door wearing just a pair of shorts. They didn't stay on long. :-)

I'll draw a delicate veil over the next hour, but after a shower we stepped outside to plow into the mass of homosexuality seething just a block away. I was hoping to spot some friends of mine who were going to be gathering in front of Grand Central, but that had to be the worst spot to rendezvous. Everybody was "gathering" in front of Grand Central!

Bob and I decided to head south to find some dinner. Along the way, we ran into Russell and he tagged along. We ended up having a nice, relaxing dinner at the Minato Grill, my favorite Japanese restaurant.

Then we spotted Ted and Bob R. on the street. Ted was still holding onto my tent for me, so Bob and I accompanied them back to Ted's house, where he invited us upstairs to sit and chat for a bit in his kitchen/breakfast nook, which has tall windows overlooking Madison which were open to the breeze. Ted's friend Bill stopped by and joined us as well.

The conversation turned to the recent Men's Gathering and Bob said he would like to go to the next one. He's also interested in an upcoming hike. I need to get directions to the hike and email them to him.

Bob and I stopped off at my apartment and dropped off the tent. I also showed him a few of the photos from my shoot last year and a little bit of some home-made porn. (Actually, the photo shoot also qualifies for that label!) :-) Then I walked with him as far as the train station and turned back home.

Finally, I ran into Russell again and invited him back to hang out at my place. He called his folks to wish his dad a happy Father's Day while I sat in my recliner and didn't do much else. We talked a little while, then he went home.

I popped my evening pill and went to bed around 10:30 p.m. That's early for me, but I had a busy day.

Doug M. called today. He's back from his trip to Easton, and he wanted to congratulate me on the good news from my doctor. He told me that Ken had told him my numbers were good.

We talked a little bit longer, then rang off. A few minutes later, it occurred to me that I have no idea who Ken is. This reminded me that I really have no idea how many people are reading my journal. :-)
