When I'm being frugal, I don't spend a lot of money — if any at all — on junk foods. I buy fruit to snack on, for the most part. It appears my body has gotten used to that, because over the past month, I've noticed that I feel a little icky when I've eaten too much of the junk.
Like today. Lunch was leftover chicken with black bean sauce, but then I followed it up with some cheddar and sour cream potato chips and half a pint of cookies and cream ice cream. Dinner was the rest of the chicken and the rest of the ice cream. At C2 class, there were little peanut butter cups to nibble at.
Now I feel bad. Not awful, just... off. I guess I'll have to scale back on such things.
There were two triumphs at C2 class this evening. Ett had us in a tidal wave and called triple waves lock it. Triumph number one was when Cissie and I did the call properly (we were the two dancers on one end of the tidal wave). Triumph number two was when everybody acted like we were looney and Ett made our square go back and do it again, whereupon she realized that Cissie and I had completed the call correctly. :-)
Ett had to dance in one of the squares tonight so we would have two squares, so she wasn't able to keep a close eye on what we were doing. That's why she was confused.
Still, it's not often that I figure something like that out. Yay!
