If America ever decriminalized and regulated recreational drug use, how long would it be before we saw magazine advertisements from the pharmaceutical companies for new, patented recreational drugs, like the ads we see now for booze and cigarettes? If we allowed recreational drug use, there'd be no plausible reason to prohibit the development of new recreational drugs, would there?
