Let's see...

Friday, April 28: Paul visits from DC for the evening.

Saturday, April 29: Bridge with [livejournal.com profile] gregmce, [livejournal.com profile] mai_neh, [livejournal.com profile] grok. My first bridge game ever and I had a fabulous time.

Sunday, April 30: Spent the evening with Jeffrey.

Monday, May 1: Jeffrey sends me off with a prepackaged salad that our local grocer gave to him for review. They also gave him three bottles of wine, but he didn't offer any of that. I don't drink, anyway. :-)

In the evening, I stay home and prepare a tuna casserole for my lunches for Tuesday and Wednesday, because I'll be house-sitting and having evenings with friends in DC.

Tuesday, May 2: Russell's new boyfriend, Paulie, made dinner for them Monday night. Russell brings me leftovers for my lunch, ziti with a tasty pasta sauce.

I start house-sitting for Jim in DC. Jim moved to DC late last year and bought his home in December. He's now having some remodeling done. The cats are to stay in the master bedroom, where they won't get in the way.

Joby, who works for the design firm managing the work, is at the front door when I arrive. It turns out that the workers locked it and she came over to open it because I have no key to that door. It takes us several minutes to get it open, which is probably why Jim never locks it.

I have dinner with Mickey at Mimi's American Bistro and he spends the night. We had hot sex in the shower. :-)

Tuesday is also the day that Paul shows up at my apartment for the week. I gave him keys when we visited the previous Friday.

Wednesday, May 3: The project team goes out for lunch to the Olive Garden to celebrate the recent release of the latest version of our software. I decide to freeze my tuna casserole and take it home.

Eric cancels our movie and dinner plans because he's exhausted. He's working too hard. I pull my tuna casserole out of the freezer and take it to Jim's house. I spend the evening reading and watching the Two Towers on my PSP with my noise-canceling headphones. I have tuna cassarole for dinner.

Thursday, May 4: When I wake up, I discover that the cats can work the doorknob to the master bedroom. I close the door on them again anyway after I tend to their needs. I don't go to the office Thursday or Friday. Instead, I take the train back to Baltimore Thursday morning to meet Barry for our trip to Rehoboth Beach for our annual square dance fly-in. I leave my leftover tuna casserole in Jim's refrigerator. He later tells me that it's delicious. :-)

Paul is still in the apartment when I arrive; he won't be leaving until Friday. He welcomes me with open arms. Afterward, I still have time to pack and take a second shower before Barry picks me up.
