I overslept by an hour and a half this morning.
I've started using my cell phone as an alarm clock. (Nifty feature: you can set the alarm to go off only on weekdays.) However, I set my phone to vibrate when I was at dinner with Russell last night (I try to always remember to do this out of courtesy to who -- whom? -- I'm spending the evening with) and forgot to set it back when I got home so I never heard it vibrating this morning.
On the plus side, I got to see my apartment in the morning sunlight. I haven't been home on a weekend in a couple of weeks, so I haven't had the opportunity to sleep in. I love the light in the morning when the sun comes in the window. And the morning was so cool on the walk to the train station!
Despite waking up ninety minutes late, I was only an hour late getting to the office. I got myself together a little quicker and caught a train that got me to New Carrollton before 9 A.M.
