Testing the waters
Jun. 1st, 2004 11:04 pmIf you're reading this, please bear with me while I figure things out. I haven't even composed my biography or uploaded any photos yet. I'm sure it all looks pretty spartan.
I've come home from dancing with the Chesapeake Squares, Baltimore's Gay and Lesbian Square Dance Club. I didn't get much sleep last night, so I was feeling a little run down all day. When I arrived home from the office, I tumbled into bed for a nap. When I awoke, I was still sluggish, but managed to get myself to the dance floor, where I was instantly energized! I've been neglecting the club for the past few weeks, and I'm always surprised at how wonderful it all feels when I return after an absence.
The two mood-altering substances that I constantly overlook are music and dancing. I have no idea why I don't self-medicate more often!
