I didn't have any work yesterday, so I hung out at home. I hauled myself out for lunch around 2 pm and was heading back home when I passed a man on the street. We took an interest in each other, then I took him to my apartment and then I took him to my bed. His name is JR; he's a junior, so "JR" just sort of stuck.

Afterwards, we took a shower and watched "Y Tu Mamá También" that I have from NetFlix. After the movie, we headed to the neighborhood grocery for some provisions and back to his place for dinner, where he played the first six episodes of Absolutely Fabulous for me, which I had never seen.

I was a good boy and told him about my HIV before he set foot in my apartment building. It turns out that he has HIV as well and that we even share the same doctor. :-)

He's got a friend staying with him through the end of the week who has a drug problem and another guy came by who's a twenty-year-old who is just discovering that he's bisexual, with a girlfriend and a three-month-old daughter. JR seems like an okay guy, but these guys give me pause.

I just got finished watching The Sixth Sense on DVD. Even knowing the secret, I really enjoyed this film.

By the end of the movie, Cole learns that he can put the ghosts to rest by helping them complete whatever task is anchoring them here. Dr. Crowe helps Sean to this realization, redeeming his failure with an earlier patient, and says goodbye to his wife. Everybody moves on with their lives -- or whatever.

Now I'm wondering... If this were true -- if we couldn't move on without completing whatever ties us here -- then would I have any unfinished business, should I die tonight? Do we put ourselves to rest?
