The boss is back

Robyn has returned from his trip to Italy, so today is the first time in a while that I'm commuting into DC for work. I haven't had to wake up at 6 a.m. since he left, except for the day I flew back from Florida.

I gave kenny73 the "front door" keys to my apartment, so he can come and go as he pleases, while keeping the "back door" (!) keys so I can get home this evening. He's going to have his car serviced this morning; it's overdue for its 30,000 km checkup.

I took Kenny to the Chesapeake Squares weekly club night last night, and he had a good time. Kenny's a little rusty at the Plus level, but we managed to get him through a couple of tips with no problem.

After dancing, he and I stopped at the Mt. Vernon Stable for dinner and then came home and went to bed.

Leather Steve

Bob S. asked me in an email today if I was into leather. I replied that I always feel a little silly when I try on leather. I just can't seem to get the right attitude. Maybe I need boots!

Anyway, I sent him a picture of me in some items borrowed from Doug M. You can see that I'm more than a little embarrassed, but fun's fun. I tell my friends that I look like a Q-tip with leather wrapped around the end. A red-haired Q-tip, anyway. :-)

By the way, that jock had a lot of extra room in it. Don't get your hopes up.

This Evening

kenny73 and I went out to dinner at the Minato Grill with my ex Russell tonight. We had an excellent meal and lots of fun.

Before dinner, I signed Kenny up with an AIM account and demonstrated the video conferencing between our computers for him. He's got DSL at home in Canada, so I'm hoping that we can use it to keep in touch.
