Jan. 7th, 2005 09:00 amThere was a young guy standing a few feet away from me on the metro this morning. He had dark red hair -- sort of a reddish-brown -- and was clean-shaven. He looked like he was usually a quiet personality, but he had thick red hair crawling out of his cuffs onto his wrists. Sexy.
A black woman sat nearby, reading this mornings Express. Her hair was pulled away from her face very severely, but exploded into a wonderful mass of red-tinted curls, sort of like an afro pony tail. I wanted to tell her how fabulous her hair was.
A tall black man stood by the door. He was slouching, and his head still only barely cleared the roof of the car. He had eyeglasses with thick black frames and his hair was styled in dreads. He carried a garment bag over one arm while he read from his book. He shook out a heavy steel watch that hung loosely to his wrist to check the time, stuffing the garment bag between his legs while juggling his book.
