Making Porn

xavier78 and I went to see "Making Porn" at the Theatre Project in Baltimore last night. The show was very funny, and we agreed that Chad Tyler ("Ricky") was the cutest of the cast, but that the guy who played Arthur was the best actor. Upon reflection, I think the play should have ended right where they stuck in the intermission. After the intermission, they spent about half an hour following up with the characters after a year or so, which seemed rushed and forced. I do recommend it, however. It's playing through June 5th.

We were getting a little concerned that the play would be too long for us to find a place to have dinner afterwards, but we got a table at a nearby Ethiopian restaurant that opened a couple of months ago. It was my first time at this restaurant, and everything was good, which was a relief.

One of the things I like about my neighborhood is all of the different restaurants within walking distance. There's even a French restaurant that opened recently. Unfortunately, it replaced the Mexican restaurant. :-(

Today I'm heading to the picnic sponsored by two HIV social organizations in Quincy Park, near the Virginia Square metro station. Then I'm going to see Episode III with Ed M.
