Wake up call
May. 19th, 2005 09:14 amI finally got to see the Battlestar Galactica mini series last night. Louis K. has a pal that gave him copies of the mini series and all of the episodes on a collection of DVDs and Louis loaned them to me. Next is to catch up on the episodes that I've missed.
I just got off the phone with Russell. He called at 9 a.m. to ask about keyboard shortcuts in OS X. This was one of those lucky moments for me because I was fast asleep instead of at my desk, which is where I should be at 9 a.m. He coincidentally kept me from over sleeping. :-)
I keep my alarm clock several feet from my bed, ensuring that I have to get up to silence it. The theory is that this will force me into a wakeful state and I won't sleep in. Fat chance. I'm perfectly capable of getting up, hitting the snooze bar and getting back to sleep, sometimes even picking up the same dream. I'll do this a few times every morning.
I remember the alarm going off at least once this morning. Instead of hitting the snooze bar, I just switched the bugger off.
