Jan. 21st, 2006 07:15 pmI'm back from Martha's Vineyard, after a car ride to the ferry terminal on the island, a ferry ride across the sound, a bus ride from the terminal to Logan airport, a plane ride to BWI airport, a train ride on Baltimore's light rail into the city and a short walk back home to my apartment. One trip, six modes of transportation. That's a record for me!
There was one snag at Logan airport: Rob booked my ticket for next Saturday: January 28. I had to shell out $100 to change the ticket so I could fly out today.
So I'm back home, making this entry from a local internet cafe. My cable and phone have been disconnected from my apartment, so I have no internet from there. I'm having dinner with Russell, so I'm going to make this entry short. I'll post more stuff about my trip some other time.
