i'm having an open house at my new place tomorrow. This is a big deal for me.
i lived in my previous apartment for eleven years, and i don't think i had more than three people in it at any one time. It was a small place, and i told myself that it wasn't conducive to entertaining.
The new place is bigger, but not huge, but many of my friends asked, "when's the house warming?", so I decided to give it a try.
Master and i shopped for foodstuffs last night, and i started putting things together tonight. Tomorrow morning will be busy, then the doors open at 11 A.M., and i'll still be busy. :-)
i'm not apprehensive or anxious, but this is still something that is out of my comfort zone. i'm fairly relaxed about it, however. Basically, all i have to do is set food out and hang out with my friends. i'll post an update after the fact.
