I had Louis K. over for dinner last night. We had a nice visit and talked about all sorts of things.
One dark spot was that I got a call from Russell and I let Louis answer the phone and rattle his cage. "Hi. What are you wearing?" That sort of thing. Russell became confused and irritated. I keep forgetting that he just doesn't react well to teasing. He's still not over it today.
I grew up in a family where we teased each other. My father, my brother, even my mom to some extent. Russell grew up in a household with no teasing, so he doesn't recognize it. I keep forgetting that.
Other than that, it was a very nice evening.
