Oct. 12th, 2005 12:31 amI'm a payed-up member of the Chesapeake Squares again (that's the Baltimore queer square dance club). I had a great time reconnecting with the other dancers and moving to Dayle's choreography.
I had let my membership lapse at the beginning of the year to save a little cash. In retrospect, I think that was penny-wise and pound-foolish. I have a lot of fun dancing with my square-dancing buddies.
In other news, I've been trying to find a way to rip a DVD into MP3. Suede put out a DVD that includes music that hasn't found its way to CD yet and I'd love to listen to it without popping it into my DVD player. There seems to be a lot of DVD utilities for the Mac, but I haven't figured out which ones I need to accomplish the goal.
