Ick.

I don't see how today is going to be anything but awful.

I attended a Superbowl party sponsored by the Baltimore chapter of Black and White Men Together with my friend Paul. I had a great time hanging out with a bunch of nice men. Paul and I left right after the game was over to catch a bus back to my place. We got back around 11:00 p.m.

We stayed up a little bit longer while he helped me review my health insurance choices from the new job, then we went to bed, where we put off sleep a little while longer, which required a shower afterwards. By the time we finally retired, it was 12:30 a.m.

That would be bad enough, but Paul had to get up at 4:00 a.m. to get dressed and catch a train back to D.C. I haven't been able to get back to sleep, so I've had no more than three and a half hours of sleep at this point.

I wasn't planning on him staying the night, and I'm going to have to discourage him from staying over when he has to get up this early. We have plans for him to visit me on an upcoming Friday, which means we can sleep in on Saturday. No more of this crap. :-/
