Good morning!
Dec. 5th, 2006 08:41 amIt's Tuesday morning, and I'm feeling almost completely recovered from my cruise. At least, I'm feeling fine at the moment. I have been dealing with a sore throat, but I don't have any other symptoms. I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't develop into anything more serious.
Yesterday morning, I exported all of my cruise pictures -- almost 300 of them -- to my PlayStation Portable and sorted through them on the train, paring them down to about 70 of my favorites, which I uploaded to my Flickr account last night. They don't have any descriptions yet; I'll be adding those as I find the time.
I went out to dinner at the Mount Vernon Stable in Baltimore with Russell last night. I managed to be good company, despite my sore throat and my fatigue. I showed him photos on my PSP, which garnered the interest of our server, Jason. We talked about cruises for a bit and I shared some photos with him, too.
Dakota and I had made plans for him to spend the night with me last night, but I warned him off because of my sore throat, so we haven't seen each other since Thanksgiving Day, when we met each other at Union Station for lunch before I traveled back to Baltimore to finish packing for my trip.
I really enjoyed myself on the cruise, even though I managed to get seasick, and I'm eager to go on the post-Thanksgiving cruise next year as well. Dakota has agreed to go with me this time, and the accommodations are only $350 per person in an interior stateroom in the class that I had on this cruise. That doesn't include taxes, gratuities and such, but it is still a reasonable fee for a six-day Caribbean cruise.
